Bruce Willis is a film actor, producer, musician, one of the highest paid actors, winner of many Emmys, Golden Globes and others.
Bruce Willis was born in Idar-Oberstein (Germany) in the family of an American and a German. His father was an American soldier, and after the end of his life, the family moved to the United States of America. In an interview, the future actor admitted: “At school I was the most unhappy boy. Shy and could not find a single friend. Classmates terribly ridiculed me and never invited me to parties and birthdays, can you imagine? And the worst thing was that I burred - it was a real hell, I tell you! ”
To defeat his vice of speech, Bruce enrolled in a school theater circle, where he learned to speak confidently in front of an audience.
After graduating from Montclair State University, Willis moved to New York, where he changed one job after another. He works as a security guard, truck driver, waiter and bartender, earning a living by hard work. Bruce Willis once said: “Do not listen to those who say that being an actor is hard work. Hard work is working in a factory for 20 years. Or, day after day, going to work that you cannot stand. ”In 2002, George W. Bush appointed him foster children.
In 2006, a plate with the name of Bruce Willis appeared on the famous Walk of Fame.
It is interesting that Bruce Willis was the fifth in the list for the main role in the film, which brought him worldwide fame (among the main applicants - Arnold Schwarzenegger and Sylvester Stallone), but it was Willis who was honored to play the main role in Die Hard.
We all perceive him as a fearless and perfect superhero. But everything is far from the case: in life, the actor is simple and shy. Probably, he will always remain an ordinary guy from the people.
