The life of the thirty-ninth US President Jimmy Carter is an example to follow for all people, and especially for our politicians. After the end of his presidential term, he begins active humanitarian activities in Uganda, Ethiopia, Sudan, for which in 2002 he became a Nobel Peace Prize laureate. For many years, the former president has served as a deacon at the Plains Baptist Church. He continued his ministry even after he was diagnosed with cancer. In 2015, before the meeting of the whole church, he spoke about the victory over the disease. Until today, the 95-year-old former president of the most powerful country in the world hurries to church weekly to serve God and people.
