Paul Rusesabagina was a hotel manager in Kigali. He managed to use all his influence and connections to protect 1268 people of the Tutsi tribe. When Paul was a child, he wanted to become a pastor and had been studying in the evangelical seminary for some time. When he was asked how did he manage to save so many people Paul said that it had happened with the help of the Lord. Lately he with his wife, children and adopted nieces moved to Belgium. In 2005 Paul Rusesabagina was awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom.
